OnIT Data Systems is operated by XAE LLC (“OnIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit onitdata.com, request a consultation, or use an OnIT application or service.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your name, company, email address, telephone number, consultation details, account information, and content you choose to place in an OnIT service. We also collect limited technical and usage information needed to operate, secure, diagnose, and improve our services.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, support, and improve OnIT services.
- Authenticate users and deliver user-requested verification codes.
- Respond to inquiries and administer our business relationship.
- Prevent fraud, comply with law, and protect users and our services.
Mobile information and SMS
If you choose phone sign-in, we use your mobile number only to send authentication messages you request. Message frequency varies based on your sign-in and resend requests. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Opting out prevents further SMS authentication until you opt in again; email sign-in may remain available.
We do not sell or share mobile numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may disclose information to service providers, such as communications and hosting providers, only as needed to provide and secure the requested service. SMS consent is not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
How we disclose information
We may disclose information to vendors acting for us, to a business customer that administers your authorized workspace, when you direct us to do so, or when reasonably necessary for legal compliance, safety, security, or a corporate transaction. Vendors may use information only to provide contracted services to us.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, contractual requirements, legitimate business needs, and legal obligations. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may decline phone authentication and use an available email method instead. You may request access, correction, or deletion of applicable personal information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or recordkeeping.
Children and changes
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy and will post the updated version with a new effective date.
